Subject lines, and how long each one takes.
The subject line is the whole routing system. Use one of these and the message goes to the right place on the first read.

Commitments
What those numbers actually mean.
Five business days
A substantive reply, not an automated acknowledgement. If something genuinely needs longer, you get a note inside the five days saying so and giving a date.
Seven days for video
Uploaded recordings are the most sensitive thing here, so deletion of them runs on a shorter clock than the statutory one. Seven days covers live systems. Backups expire on their ordinary rotation, which completes within 35 days, and no deleted recording is ever restored from one.
Thirty days
The period Australian Privacy Principles 12 and 13 allow for access and correction. Identity checking happens inside that window rather than on top of it. A refusal comes with written reasons, the ground relied on, and how to complain about it.
If somebody else filmed you
You do not have to be a user of this application to ask about a recording you appear in. Write to us and we will deal with it on the merits, without requiring you to prove a relationship with whoever uploaded it beyond what is needed to be satisfied the request is genuine.
If our answer is not good enough
Complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992. There is no fee, you do not need a lawyer, and you do not need our agreement. The OAIC will normally expect you to have given us 30 days first.
